Safari Accommodation

We realise it can feel a bit bananas to be pre-booking so far in advance - we're sorry! It's only because this is the best price safari in the whole of the Western Cape. 

There's only space for 40 people in the Bush Villas (now SOLD OUT), first come first serve. Otherwise, you're in the £350/450 per person/per night rooms in the Tented Lodge. If you're travelling with kids, only the Village Lodge is child friendly, please book Tented or Village lodge directly - it's fully refundable on booking.com.

If you'd like to come on safari for two nights, just RSVP & tell us. We've pre-booked and pre-paid for all the Bush Villa rooms.

When we arrive, you'll pick which activities want to do & pay for them directly to Botlierskop

3 hour game drives are around £50 per person

1 hour horse riding is around £21 per person

The accommodation is self catering, but we're liaising both dinners, one will be a BBQ around the watering hole at a cottage, the other a 3 course fine dining dinner in the Spekbos Restaurant. £90 per person including both dinners & drinks. (If you want to opt out of the dinners & bring your own food - please let us know - no pressure)

Brunch at the restaurant is around £6.50

There are other safaris in the western cape, Aquila has terrible reviews but highly advertised. We would not recommend.
All other safaris are wildly expensive £1,000+ per night. If you're excited for a proper wilderness safari, probably best to go before/after the wedding in Kruger (in South Africa), or Botswana. 

Cape Town Accommodation

The cheapest accommodation we could find is the Stone Cottages (£44+). Great location, but very simple interiors. 

The Camps Bay retreat hotel is a good but quite expensive hotel in the area & walking distance to our favourite beach - Glen beach. We will be staying at an airbnb on Glen beach.

We highly recommend Airbnbs, the quality and the price is unrivalled. No rental car necessary, Ubers are never more than 5 mins away, and most trips <£5. 

Look for places to stay around Camps Bay, Clifton & Glen Beach. There's plenty within a 15 minute walk.

We've pre-paid to reserve everyone's accommodation, so please bank transfer us depending on number of people & how many nights.

Please have a think about whether you'll be staying Sunday night. Checkout is at 10am, so if you plan a big Saturday and are on the overnight flight home - you might want to consider booking Sunday for the day anyway/even if you don't stay (the airport is 50 mins away). 

eg. 2x people, staying 2x nights = £106x4 = £424 or
2x people staying 3 nights (including Sunday)= £636
We have capacity for 130ish people, first come first serve.

As we're private hiring the farm exclusively we're unable to refund you if your plans change - sorry! Please don't book alternative accommodation instead of Boschendal.
